i love dorothy chia she rocks all our socks. okay i’m sure no one is in this with me. but i was just kidding anyway. so yeah. and obviously no one went to support her for her mini-performance over the last weekend. like we got nothing better to do.

sch aside. can’t wait for the long weekend to come seriously. no sch on monday which means one long day down, which is my longest day of the week. there’s definitely gonna be some poker action, blogging for comms (shit), studying and revising, and my mom’s birthday celebration! wooot.

its been so long ever since i updated the blog. due to a comment, i feel obliged to do so. so, here it is. WOO.

anyway sch has started. all the excitement that all of us had before going to sch has died down i guess. it took me i think approximately 4 days. derrick and gang took a week. its only a week into school, and i have a project in hand, 2 quizzes next week and many many quizzes the following weeks.

MUSIC.
can’t believe i’m actually taking music. as in theory music like C major scale and stuff like that. hopefully what i’ve learnt in the past can be put to gd use. if so, its so going to be a scoring module for me. so fingers crossed.

ENGLISH.
something like the GP we learnt back then in junior college. writing essays. doing grp work and project work and presenting in class. lets hope everything goes well.

PSYCHOLOGY.
the best prof i encountered so far. telling us the stuff to study for exams. what’s impt and what’s not. unlike some others who just teaches everything and won’t even breathe a word about quizzes and exams. motherly.

COMMUNICATIONS.
ppl normally say they leave the best for last. i’m leaving the worst for last. i hate this freaking module the most seriously. firstly because of the nature of this module. we must set up a blogspot or wordpress and create an entry weekly on the current issues in the newspapers about media? project work is so much of a hassle so much so that we have to do a max 3 mins video to introduce our grp members. and it has to be interesting. well, our grp has came up with quite an interesting idea but this v short video clip has caused i think all of us to be turn off by comms. and the prof? hmm no comments.

EXEMPTIONS.
no idea why the old syllabus GP can’t be used. only the new ones. no exemption frm that = taking civil war history which i heard from my senior that no one has ever scored an A in that. the name of the mod can just turn anyone off seriously. but i’m exempted from MATH,NUTRITION & CHINESE. so i saved my parents about $6.5k. woot.

back to studying now. uni life IS stressful.

gonna be hell

 the next whole month is gonna be hell.

going to bkk next week with alvin/derrick/ken/dharma for a holiday plus business trip together. hope its gonna be a fun, fulfiling and cheap trip though i know its hard to save there.

lets see. june.

flea market from the 30th may to 28th june. its an everyday affair at the playground, big splash. just behind old town white coffee. we will be selling tees,shirts and berms. so pls come and support when you guys are free! see what i mean by hell? everyday from 10am to 10pm. plus ken will be leaving for a holiday with his family from 12th june onwards. so its left with me and dharma to tend the stall.

back stronger

bkk wasn’t that bad after all. all the protests and fighting and violence seen over the news wasn’t there when we were there. probably not in the area of it. the most i saw were army ppl carrying carbine on the streets. not like thats not scary enough. haha.

blog’s gonna be up in mid may hopefully if everything goes smoothly. need to settle the tentage issue. layout issue. payment issues. plus lots more issues that we need to discuss among ourselves to sort things out.

so derrick goh’s 21st birthday party just passed and i have to say the hotel ascott residence was excellent. big and spacious with good friends among you celebrating your birthday is simply heartwarming. got him an fcuk watch which i think will look good on him. so hope he takes care of it and not throw it around like his agnes b bag he has now. so derrick pls upload your photos asap to let the world see your happy 21st bdae bash (:

apparently luck wasn’t on me and dharma’s side for the big sweep 2.2 million prize and toto 1.6 million prize. its okay, its coming soon. haha.

ken,dharma and me are in for a business up and coming pretty soon, by the end of april so stay tuned all the guys for a hell of a shopping experience with us. a name for our shop is yet to be confirmed so everything is still in the midst of the discussion.

first hunt was at the new majestic hotel in chinatown. design is simply unstoppable. i’m sure no one can refuse a room like that.

awesome hotel i have to say. gd recommendation derrick goh guo hui.

and so we proceeded ourselves to swissotel to check out the prices and we saw the equinox restaurant. haha so we concluded that the best thing to have in a date when you are up there wld be a dinner at the 69th-72th storey of equinox and followed by a nice wkend stay at the new majestic hotel in chinatown. awesome deal, but with a hole in your pocket.

another of dharma’s favourite place, alila cha am located in thailand, hua hin area.the poolside has a description for it,it goes “chill by day, chill by night” which i think its totally true. haha.

 the private villa is really gd too, maybe ppl can consider having their mini honeymoon there. with a private pool to each unit.

came across another hse online and this has to be my favourite i guess. its the Swede Hill and it is also designed by award winning architects. haha so that explains it all.

should i stay or should i go

my in charge in boc asked me to extend perhaps another mth because if a new intern comes she has to train all over again which is quite tiring. while on the other hand i have mastered most of the techniques and tactics of asking ppl to pay up their debts. but its getting super boring and i dont even look forward to work everyday. i only look forward to fridays and dread sundays as the nxt day is just another working day again. BOO.

but it can be quite irritating when ppl scold you on the phone for nothing. in the first place u are swiping your card happily so when the bill come just pay for the damn bill la. why be so difficult and so stuck up. even if you are the ceo of some up there company, stalling pymt just shows how irresponsible you are. joke.

ok enough whining. so looks like ken and dharma has a job now. not so much for ken as he spends 3/4 of his time playing with his itouch and facebook texas holdem. haha. but not too bad, all of us are earning an honest living for ourselves. instead of depending on parents for pocket money, i’m giving my parents allowance from my pay and coaching.

pay check bang

 got my first pay check from boc few days back and all i gotta say that it feels gd.

GD.

paid me for 19 days of work, 8.5 hrs a day, $7 an hr before the cpf cut. which all in all gave me $1130 and $920 after the cpf cut. guess ppl our age will nv want any cpf contribution at this point of time but parents say that cpf is v useful in future, gotta look at the long term instead of getting just the cash in front of you. beg to differ a lil but guess it makes sense.

working office hrs certainly isn’t my cup of tea. all you do is just rot in the office for 9 hrs a day, sitting down on the chair all day long staring at the V+ screen and look forward to the weekends, without enjoying what you are doing.

well, weekly dose of soccer plus poker and chill nights makes my week now.
